Summary: The house is well laid out for multiple family members and the yard to the nice boat dock is more level than most. The house needs a good cleaning and the plumbing needs some work. The faucet at the kitchen sink was not working properly and the owner responded quickly and had it replaced. However the lower level bathtub shower and several drains were slow to drain. There was no cold water at the lower level bathroom but learned it was turned off as it dripped otherwise. The can opener in the kitchen does not work.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay despite nearly a full day of rain. The house is spacious with comfortable living areas upstairs and downstairs to get together or find a quiet nook to read and relax. The deck has tons of seating with great views of the included dock and surrounding areas. Everything we needed was there and our two dogs loved roaming the gated deck, and my boys spent as much time in the hot tub as they did fishing and playing off the dock. Great place!

Summary: The home is exceptional. Clean, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. The Hot Tub was perfectly clean. Plenty of space. Would absolutely stay here again.

Summary: We truly enjoyed our stay on SML! The home is clean, beautiful, spacious, and well equipped. The views of the lake from the main living room upstairs are great! There is no lack of beds or bathrooms in this home. It is perfect for small or large groups. The hot tub on the lower deck and the fireplace down stairs made a winter evening cozy and inviting. Our family gives the home 5 stars! We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay in this house. It was perfect for 3 separate families and dogs. The shaded dock was great for shade and slight rain showers. We wished it was slightly cleaner, but that wasn’t a breaking point for us by any means, as they let us arrive an hour early to swim! Would definitely come back to this home. We made some great memories here!

Summary: The house was located in a beautiful location. I really appreciated that it had 3 rooms with king sized beds and the fourth bedroom had a double with a twin above it as well as a twin bunk bed. There were 3 bathrooms, two of which were master bedroom bathrooms. The third bathroom had a shower and was located near the kitchen upstairs. The hot tub was a big hit for the family. The deck on the back provided a great view of the lake and plenty of space for guests to congregate.

Summary: The house was very clean, updated, plenty of room for a family, comfortable, and cozy. The furniture was all comfortable and plenty of space to sit. The family fished, played games, and just enjoyed sitting on the big porch in the afternoon together. The weather was beautiful and we all would go to the same place next year if we can.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this home on Smith Mountain Lake. The large deck on the main floor was perfect for early morning and evening boat watching. The boat dock was covered and provided the perfect amount of shade for sitting next to the lake in the mid-day and afternoons. This is a narrow stretch of lake with quite a bit of traffic, but far enough away from the dock that we felt comfortable hanging out in the water. Our boat and seadoo fit very comfortably with room enough for another boat or seadoo. The house was very nice. Four spacious bedrooms, BEAUTIFUL living spaces on both floors, and well stocked with everything we needed for our extended family. The host was very pleasant to work with, very helpful, and replied quickly. We will be back next summer!
